We are seeking a curious, data-driven, and detail-oriented Reporting Analyst to join our team on-site. About the Role
As a Reporting Analyst, you'll play a key role in analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments—finance, sales, marketing, and operations. You'll leverage your ability to spot trends in data and translate raw numbers into meaningful narratives that support strategic and operational decisions at all levels of the organization. This role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates cross-functionally across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, Manage, and Analyze Data
- Define the goals of analysis and coordinate data collection across departments
- Evaluate business operations through a data-driven lens
- Improve and expand existing data structures and schemas
- Partner with stakeholders to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and performance opportunities
- Transform raw data into clear, insightful, and actionable reports that support continuous improvement
Conduct Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, interpret, and analyze business, financial, and operational data
- Uncover data trends, variances, and cost-saving or revenue-enhancing opportunities
- Build insightful dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Excel
- Analyze customer, product, and service data to support strategy and development
Support Operations and Decision-Making
- Create and distribute recurring performance and operational reports
- Audit and maintain data integrity across enterprise systems
- Serve as a go-to resource for ad hoc reporting and data-related questions
- Help internal teams interpret and apply report findings
Facilitate Implementation and Improvement
- Collaborate with leadership to assess how data aligns with strategic goals
- Support enhancements to systems, tools, and reporting processes
- Contribute ideas to improve reporting efficiencies and business insights
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a reporting analyst or similar data analysis role
Technical Skills (Highly Desired and SEO-Optimized)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and functions)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and data visualization
- Experience in SQL reporting, querying, and data extraction
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar BI platforms
- Knowledge of CRM systems, especially Infor Sales Logix CRM, is a plus
- Understanding of Boolean logic and query operators is an asset
- Solid grasp of data integrity, data trends, business intelligence concepts, and reporting methodologies
- Experience working with databases, report generation, and dashboard creation
