DescriptionOur Rental Technicians are qualified electricians with hands-on experience. They take on the responsibility of making sure our equipment is always fully operational and ready for any rental at any time.
- Prepare rental equipment to suit customer project needs
- Inspection and quality assurance testing and reports of rental and sale equipment
- Preventative maintenance and minor repairs to rental equipment
- Shipping and receiving of rental and sale equipment
- Maintaining a high level of presentation and organization in our yard, warehouse and common areas
- Some work beyond regular hours required to attend to after-hours calls
Equipment includes: Automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, dry/padmount/substation transformers, cable, motor starters, breakers, splitters, and more across a range of voltages and amperage levels.Requirements
- Minimum 3 years as a qualified working electrician (Journeyman or equivalent)
- Commercial and industrial electrical construction, repairs, maintenance and commissioning to high and low voltage system
- Able to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids
- Able to locate and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment
- Able to lift/move heavy equipment (100+ lbs.), work at heights, and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work outside regular hours for after-hours calls as needed
