Britten is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rental Asset Coordinator to oversee the lifecycle, utilization, and condition of all rentable physical assets. This critical role ensures that rental assets are properly maintained, accurately tracked, and efficiently deployed to meet customer needs. The Rental Asset Coordinator will collaborate closely with logistics, maintenance and sales to manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement best practices for asset tracking, repair, and replacement. This position plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting customer satisfaction, and optimizing the cost-effectiveness of our rental program.   • Maintain accurate inventory records of all rentable assets, rental history, item availability and asset condition, utilizing Asset Panda software
  • Manage the rental process from order intake to asset return
  • Ensure all assets are properly tagged, categorized, and stored for efficient access and dispatch
  • Coordinate with technicians or third-party service providers for repairs or refurbishments
  • Recommend replacements, upgrades, or asset retirements based on condition and performance data
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • Supervise storage layout and equipment handling procedures to optimize space and protect inventory
  • Ensure proper training and safety practices are followed by all team members
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance, inspections, and repairs of all rental assets
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing rental orders, ensuring timely deliveries and returns
  • Work with the logistics team to coordinate transport to and from the customer
  • Assist sales team with rental agreements
  • Coordinate with installation and sales teams to ensure customer rental needs are met
  • Maintain strong vendor and service provider relationships for repair and parts
  • Serve as a point of contact for event-specific rental needs
  • Troubleshoot issues on-site or remotely during events if asset problems arise
  • Keep documentation up to date for compliance and insurance purposes
  • Assist in annual budget planning for new equipment purchases and asset retirement

  • 3+ years of experience in rental operations, warehousing or asset management
  • Strong working knowledge of truss systems, hardware, and framing equipment
  • Proficiency with rental or inventory management software including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and returns
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients
  • Able to inspect, diagnose, and sometimes assist in repairing assets
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues related to missing, damaged, or overbooked assets
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations, load ratings, handling practices, and workplace safety protocols
  • Understanding of warehouse procedures, asset tagging and loss prevention
