Renewable Energy Project Development and Commercial Contracting Attorney (Remote)

Latitude is seeking a lawyer with renewable energy project development experience to work in-house with a clean energy technology company on a part-time engagement basis. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in energy manufacturing. The role includes drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various commercial agreements, such as manufacturing procurement, supply chain, services, JDAs, NDAs, and providing counsel to supply chain and engineering teams on commercial legal issues related to product design, engineering, and manufacturing of clean energy products. This is a fully remote position.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project development and commercial contracts within the renewable energy industry
• Experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing, or editing commercial contracts including manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, services, JDAs, and NDAs
• Experience at an Am Law 200 law firm or corporate legal department preferred
• Licensed and in good standing in your state of residence
• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Outstanding references

Compensation:

• Annualized pay ranges from $180,000 to $250,000 for full-time; actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, location, and market factors
• Benefits include professional liability insurance, group medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, AD&D insurance, 401k, and a stipend for CLE and professional expenses
