We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Removal Defense Attorney with a strong background in immigration law, particularly in representing clients facing deportation or removal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have courtroom experience, a deep understanding of immigration court procedures, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in removal and deportation proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
• Prepare and file motions, briefs, asylum applications, cancellation of removal applications, waivers, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex immigration and constitutional law issues.
• Develop and execute individualized case strategies for clients facing removal.
• Appear at master and individual hearings, bond hearings, and other immigration court proceedings.
• Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients and their families throughout the removal defense process.
• Stay informed of changes in immigration laws, policies, and court rulings that affect removal defense.
• Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation in the firm's case management system.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing (any state).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in removal defense or immigration law preferred.
• Strong courtroom and litigation skills.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients.
