REMOTE SW TESTER - TrustedQA : Job Details

Title: Quality Assurance AnalystWork Location:RemoteEssential Functions:

• Contribute to several software-related project functions for our NAVAIR customer by supporting Agile and Dev/Ops implementation activities; collaborate between self-organizing and cross-functional teams
• Work closely with Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software problems and their causes
• Capture and manage software/application defects in tracking system
• Communicate issues and work directly with software developers to analyze and ensure corrections are resolved to meet approved specifications/requirements
• Participate in software design reviews to provide input on requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules
• Other duties as assigned or required

• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Azure DevOps, GIT, Jira, Jama
• Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices and policies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience supporting applications within the NAVAIR hosting environments
• Experience with naval logistics and maintenance applications

Security Clearance:Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.Education:BS or BA technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline) and 5 years related experience OR AS or AA degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
