Job Title: Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant to support our healthcare providers by delivering high-quality documentation and clinical support. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for real-time charting during patient visits and performing various medical assistant tasks, contributing to a more efficient and effective patient care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Scribe Duties:
- Document patient encounters in real-time under the direction of a healthcare provider.
- Accurately enter patient histories, physical exam findings, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions into the electronic health record (EHR).
- Update medical records with test results, referrals, and relevant clinical data.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
Medical Assistant Duties:
- Assist with patient intake processes remotely, including reviewing medical history and confirming medications.
- Communicate with patients to follow up on test results, care instructions, or provider messages.
- Provide general clinical support as needed in accordance with virtual care protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification or scribe training preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience as a medical scribe and/or medical assistant (virtual experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
- Reliable internet connection and a private, secure workspace.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Experience working in a remote healthcare environment.
