Location: RemoteEst. Hourly Salary: $24.00 - $35.00Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/Contract

Responsible for being the first point of contact for patients, staff, and guests presenting at the clinic, and performing all the administrative tasks associated with patient check-in.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for opening front office and all duties associated with this function.
  • Welcome, greet, and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently utilizing the computer system.
  • Verify and ensure completeness of patient registration documentation. Enter patient data into the electronic medical system.
  • Review and verify patient insurance coverage using online resources.
  • Explain payment options, including sliding scale fees, Medicare, Medicaid, and other assistance programs.
  • Follow up on appointments needing confirmation or no-shows using Vital Interaction reports.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and reduce cycle time.
  • Assist with closing gaps in care by notifying patients of upcoming services.
  • Notify personnel of emergencies, messages, and patient arrivals.
  • Document and communicate patient concerns to leadership.
  • Work assigned hours and as needed outside scheduled hours, including weekends.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, clinical, and company information, following HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform all duties ethically, in line with company values.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
