Remote Customer Service Associate

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing courteous, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to external and internal customers on a regular and consistent basis in accordance with service-level agreements (SLAs);
  • Receiving customer telephone requests for elevator and/or escalator service;
  • Gathering complete and accurate customer, building, and equipment information;
  • Entering customer data and all relative information utilizing SAP dispatching application;
  • Scheduling and/or paging Schindler elevator/escalator technicians;
  • Receiving field technician's responses to pages; communicating details of customers' request for service; obtaining estimated time of arrival (ETA) at site information;
  • Calling customers requesting service: conveying field technicians' ETA at designated site for servicing;
  • Fully participating, cooperating, and supporting a team effort in processing external and internal customers' calls for service;
  • Working with Manager-Call Center and Supervisor-Call Center to support Call Center improvement initiatives and on items related to key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs.

What you bring:

  • Six (6) months or more of customer service responsibilities in a Call Center environment and/or face-to-face customer service responsibilities;
  • A general knowledge and application of data entry, general typing or PC activities;
  • A consistent ability to practice proper telephone etiquette when dealing with all types of customers.
