Position: Audit Manager/Senior Manager – Property & Casualty Insurance (Remote with Occasional On-Site Work)

A top-tier national audit and advisory CPA firm, recognized for its specialized services to the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join its expanding Insurance Practice, with a focus on Property & Casualty (P&C) clients. This opportunity features a remote-first work model, with periodic on-site engagements as needed.

About the Insurance Practice:

• Serves over 100 insurance entities across P&C, life, and health sectors.
• Client portfolio ranges from $1 million to over $300 million in direct premiums written.
• Offers tailored, industry-specific audit and advisory solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage statutory-based audit engagements for insurance clients.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic insights and solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and professional development.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and engaging in professional networking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; advanced degree preferred
• Active CPA license in good standing
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a concentration in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance clients
• In-depth understanding of statutory accounting principles and NAIC regulatory requirements
• Proven leadership abilities, strong analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication
• Willingness to work seasonal overtime as needed
• Valid driver's license or access to reliable transportation for occasional on-site engagements
