Reliability Engineer - Reading, PA - First Energy Corporation : Job Details

This is an open position with the FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [SC 00] This Engineer position, located within PA Operations in the Reading / Boyertown area, is accountable for the reliability and assessment of Pennsylvania's distribution systems. The engineer performs analysis and recommends solutions to maintain a reliable electrical infrastructure that meets present and future electrical needs. This position can report to either the Reading Office or the Boyertown service center. Responsibilities include: Working safely in accordance with the Companys Accident Prevention Handbook. Assessing and improving the electrical distribution system's reliability performance for all Pennsylvania Operating Areas. Developing and maintaining strategic plans to achieve reliability performance targets and metrics including a long-range vision for system improvement and modernization.
