JOB SUMMARY Responsible for sustaining and continuously improving various mechanical components for equipment and tools. Ensures the safe, effective operations of the organization's production and supports continuous improvement. Manages reliability engineering projects. Performs analytical verification. Evaluates, tests, and tracks results of reliability interventions. Initiates reporting for internal or third-party reported incidents. Creates, documents, and follows up on corrective actions. Prepares routine reports and memos and coordinates communications across all necessary functional groups of the organization. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy and vision of the organization.   • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Ten (10) or more years experience in Oil & Gas or related experience (Required)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Subject matter expert on Fixed Equipment, Pressure Control Devices, Pressure Vessels, Process Piping
  • Experience in FCC, Alky, ULSG, Boilers units preferred
  • Process Safety
  • Assist in Turnaround scoping and participate in discovery during Turnarounds
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Analysis
  • Budgeting
  • Calculate minimum thickness, maximum pressure and temperature, prepare and calculate hot torque list, bolt and gasket calculation, etc.
  • Leak Repair Device (LRD) design review
  • Develops and maintains pressure equipment-related technical standards and guidance documents such as pressure equipment ratings, pressurization and temperature controls for heavy wall hydro processing equipment, Fitness-for-Service assessments
  • Ensures compliance with jurisdictional rules, governmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices
  • Participates in industry best practice org., codes and standards development, CRMP
  • Develops and maintains pressure equipment design and fabrication engineering specifications as assigned
  • Develops and implements assurance programs and processes to ensure compliance with established pressure equipment-related standards
  • Provides pressure equipment engineering support in areas such as equipment ratings, fitness-for-service assessments, pressure-relieving and vapor depressurizing systems

  • Facilitate MOCs or act as SME in MOC process, participate in PHA
  • Conducts engineering studies and analyses in support of reliability programs
  • Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations
  • Provides engineering support to major project on technical specifications, bid packages, and technical submittal reviews for procurement of pressure vessels, piping, and other pressure equipment
  • Work with inspections to maintain Mechanical Integrity Program
