Summary

Client is seeking a Relay Protection and Controls Engineer to design and procure protective relaying systems for substations and transmission lines. This role involves client interaction, field support, and ensuring designs meet industry and client standards.

Responsibilities

· Design protection and control schemes for substations

· Select and specify relaying equipment

· Develop detailed drawing packages (one-line, schematics, wiring diagrams)

· Support field construction and pre-inspections

· Collaborate with clients and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

· BSEE from an ABET-accredited university

· 4+ years of experience in electrical system design (6+ preferred)

· PE license preferred

· Proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD, Bentley, and related tools

· Knowledge of SCADA, relay settings, and P&C concepts a plus
