A Day in the LifeThe Surgical Health Economics, Policy, and Reimbursement (HEPR) Director leads the development and execution of strategies to achieve market access and demonstrate therapy value to expand patient access to Medtronic Surgical therapies in the US and globally. The Surgical HEPR Director reports to the Sr. Director, HEPR, Surgical.
This role supports global reimbursement strategy development, new business development, evidence planning, and product launch support for therapies in the Digital Technologies and Robotic Technologies businesses. The individual will understand and communicate global clinical and economic evidence requirements for market access and sustainable payments, developing global and geography-specific reimbursement strategies, including coding, coverage, and payment considerations.
The position collaborates with regional and local reimbursement and market access colleagues (including US) to support establishing and maintaining reimbursement in target geographies, executing strategic plans, and developing evidence strategies with global and European teams. The role is based in Minneapolis, MN; Boston, MA; North Haven, CT; or Lafayette, CO.
