Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a Payer Enrollment Specialist working remotely from your home office based in the USA, with a start date prior to September 1, 2025.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Payer Enrollment Specialist

As a Payer Enrollment Specialist, you will manage enrollment activities across Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance payers, leveraging your expertise in credentialing and payer onboarding to add new payers to Castles centralized portal and ensure seamless team access. As the portal administrator, you will handle registration, employee access, and maintain tracking systems-including the Payer Portal, EDI, and Medicaid enrollment sheets-to support efficient reimbursement and compliance. You will prepare and complete enrollment and re-enrollment applications within required timeframes and standards for Castle and its subsidiaries, covering Medicaid and other health plan credentialing, recredentialing, ERA, EFT, and portal enrollments. Additional duties include researching payer portal capabilities, registering Castle and associates, managing renewals, assisting with password resets, and maintaining internal files and documentation, such as the Commercial and Medicaid Payer Enrollment spreadsheet, Payer Portal and Contact Guide, and related tracking sheets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Three (3) or more years of recent, hands-on experience in a credentialing role, with proven experience in managing and completing EDI and EFT enrollment activities.
  • Working knowledge of payer credentialing rules, portals and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate the completion of several activities/projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates an extensive knowledge of state license requirements, primary source verification as well as credentialing and database maintenance.
  • Ability to develop and manage credentialing independently.
