Rehabilitation Aide - Confluence Health : Job Details

To support all therapists (PT, OT, SLP, Wound Care) in patient care, distributing and maintaining equipment, and keeping the department neat and orderly. Position Reports To: Rehab Services Manager Essential Functions Transport patient safely and efficiently. Set up treatment area appropriately with necessary equipment as instructed by therapist. Work accurately and proficiently in Epic (the organizations electronic medical records program) to perform tasks, including basic reception scheduling practices, navigating referrals, managing in-basket messaging, navigating patient charts, and other Epic tasks/functions assigned to the Rehab Aide position. Keep treatment area and gym neat and orderly. Clean equipment properly. Neatly stock and rotate linen. Assist therapist with patient treatment as requested. Observe and report patients general condition and any pertinent information about patient from other hospital staff. Required to maintain current BLS certification.
