Rehab Aide - Northwell Health : Job Details

Assists Physical Therapists/ Occupational Therapists with patient care and clerical support in outpatient rehabilitation. Job Responsibility - Assists Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists with patient bed mobility/transfers/ambulation and exercises to provide assistance to patients as required by the Therapists. Assists P - Ts/ O - Ts with patient instruction of activities of daily living. Prepares hot packs, cold packs, and other treatment protocols under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapists/ Occupational Therapists. Measures/adjusts walkers/canes/ crutches for patients.
