Job Summary: The North America Regulatory Specialist is responsible for supporting regulatory compliance and product registration activities throughout North America. This position ensures that Alltech's products, facilities, and documentation meet applicable federal and state regulatory requirements for animal feed and pesticide products. The Specialist works cross-functionally with internal departments and external regulatory agencies to maintain Alltech's strong compliance standing and support ongoing market access across the region. Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of North American regulatory frameworks and standards related to animal feed and pesticide products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees and customers
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Talent to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Fluency in a foreign language would be an asset.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation and submission of new product registration applications across North America
  • Provide support for facility licensing requirements throughout North America
  • Maintain existing product and facility registrations to ensure continued compliance
  • Conduct regulatory research and review applicable federal and state laws and regulations
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide technical review of product documentation and labeling
  • Assist in preparing and executing regulatory registration strategies and plans
  • Track and manage regulatory projects and deadlines to ensure timely submissions and renewals.
  • Organize and verify product development information to ensure regulatory compliance of ingredients, formulations, and labels
  • Assist in resolving regulatory challenges and responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies and customers.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records related to international regulatory activities
  • Attend various training programs to obtain and maintain expertise in applicable issues
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Science, Business, International Studies, or related field.
  • Experience working with regulatory affairs or compliance in the agriculture, feed, or food industry preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to navigate office and facility environments.
  • Must be able to accommodate occasional needs for travel, primarily within North America.
