The Regulatory Affairs Specialist plays a crucial role in the company by ensuring that our products comply with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the United States.

Your work will be essential in supporting product development teams, managing submissions to regulatory agencies, maintaining technical documentation, and serving as a key point of contact between the company and regulatory authorities.

This role involves several key responsibilities, including:

- Developing packaging and generating Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ingredient statements.

- Addressing customer and regulatory compliance needs.

- Responding to consumer regulatory inquiries.

- Ensuring the safety and efficacy of ingredients.

Collaboration is essential in this position. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with key stakeholders, including Marketing, Legal, and Product Development, to provide regulatory insights that support product development.

Your primary objective will be to communicate regulatory requirements effectively and escalate issues as needed. Additionally, you will support Quality Assurance (QA) and Manufacturing during inspections, recalls, and reviews conducted by regulatory agencies.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. This includes preparing and delivering presentations—both written and oral—to various levels of management.

Staying informed about new regulatory developments and assessing their implications for our business will be a key part of your role. You will need to stay up-to-date with advancements in toxicology research and contribute to the development of safer and more sustainable products.

Managing your workload and prioritizing tasks effectively will be essential for success in this role.

Please note that this position is anticipated to transition to First Quality in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Qualifications

- Over 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs.

- A bachelor's or graduate degree in a science-related field, law, regulatory science, business administration, or public health is preferred.

- Ability to manage projects across various departments and teams.

- Experience with SAP is preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

- A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
