The role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the regulatory department. This includes product notifications/registrations, extended producer responsibility, and special projects such as EU/UK REACH compliance and mandatory regulatory surveys/reporting. You will also oversee adverse reaction investigations, monitor and research regulatory updates, and ensure compliance.

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will manage one direct report.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the regulatory department (including the direct report)
  • Maintain the integrity of the Regulatory Platform
  • Lead regulatory projects such as EU/UK REACH compliance and mandatory surveys/reporting
  • Manage product registration and notifications
  • Provide regulatory support for internal and external teams, including product claim substantiation, in-depth regulatory review (raw ingredients and final formulas), and product artwork review

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BSc or BA) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in the cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • Fluent knowledge of global cosmetic regulations (USA, EU, UK, Canada, Asia)
  • Fluent knowledge of USA and Canada drug regulations
