The Opportunity

About the Role & Consensus

We're looking for a Registration & Event Systems Manager to join our Events Operations team. In this role, you will serve as the administrator for our event management system and partner with various internal & external teams to define new & enhance existing features that will improve system functionality while maintaining data integrity and accuracy to support strategic & operational decisions for all CoinDesk Events. This role requires onsite work from our NYC office near Union Square. The required days per week are at the discretion of the hiring manager and may shift based on business needs.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the administrator for the Event Management System (EMS)
  • Lead registration and support teams with data entry and quality control
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison between stakeholders and internal/external product, design, and development teams
  • Sustain feature backlog, prioritize, and launch new development solutions
  • Collaborate to scope new features and enhance product capabilities
  • Understand internal system needs and prioritize requests
  • Provide clear instructions to engineering teams during development
  • Oversee registration for all events, troubleshoot issues, and analyze attendee data
  • Support reporting and respond to attendee inquiries
  • Manage internal registration requests and maintain registration lists
  • Conduct audits, enforce deadlines, and reconcile invoices
  • Compile data, plan onsite registration setup, and generate post-event reports
  • Support administrative onboarding and coordinate with third-party vendors
  • Assist with virtual events and ensure deliverables are met

What You Have

  • 5+ years of experience with internal tools supporting large-scale events
  • Experience with box office ticketing software
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS 365
  • Experience analyzing registration and event data for reports
  • Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Excellent client service skills

CoinDesk offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits, with variations based on location and experience.
