Patient Registration Clerk - Urgent Care

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift

Job Status: Full Time, 76 hours per pay period

Schedule:

  • Week 1: Sun 8a-4p, Tues 8a-8p, Thurs 8a-8p
  • Week 2: Tues 8a-8p, Thurs 8a-8p, Fri 8a-8p, Sat 8a-4p

    The Patient Registration Clerk works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient customer service.

    What you will need:

    • High school graduate with courses in business and computers.
    • Ability to read, write and speak the English language effectively.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • One year of medical office experience preferred with understanding of medical and insurance terms.
    • Able to type 50 wpm, error free.

    What you will do:

    • Register patients for multiple hospital services.
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Count and balance cash funds and write appropriate an accurate receipt.
