Registrar - Missouri Valley College : Job Details

Missouri Valley College (MVC) invites applications for College Registrar to begin July 1, 2025. This position is a full-time position on the MVC campus in Marshall, Missouri.Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesThe MVC Registrar is the administrative official with principal responsibility for student registrations and records. Key job functions and responsibilities include overseeing registration, classroom scheduling, the academic calendar, maintenance of student records, graduation clearance, enrollment services, and other related duties. The Registrar also ensures the institution's compliance with FERPA regulations. Additionally, the Registrar serves as the chair of the Curriculum Committee, the campus liaison for the CIC Tuition Exchange Program, and the liaison to the National Student Clearinghouse. The position includes monitoring student enrollment and collaborating with relevant offices to support and achieve enrollment goals. The Registrar also manages the student portion of the Ellucian Colleague student information system and oversees both the graduation process and ceremony.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Degree in higher education administration, student affairs, or related field preferred.* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a registrar's office or related academic administration.* Strong knowledge of student information systems (e.g., Colleague, Banner, Jenzabar, or similar).* Familiarity with FERPA, accreditation standards, and academic policy.* Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.* Commitment to student success.* Authorized to work in the United States.* Satisfactory completion of background check.Collegiality, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the college mission are also necessary qualifications.Application InstructionsTo apply, please email cover letter, resume, copies of unofficial transcripts, and contact information for three professional references to Marsha Lashley ([email protected]).
