Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: New York, NY 10038 Duration: 59-Day Assignment (Potential for Extension) Shift: 8 Hours/Day, 40 Hours/Week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Compensation: $62 - $65 per hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a short-term assignment in New York City. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities in respiratory care, particularly in diagnostic testing and ventilator management. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic healthcare team and contribute to patient care excellence in a clinical setting. Qualifications:Education:

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy

Certifications:

• Valid RRT License (New York State)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in:
  • Spirometry
  • Plethysmography
  • Diffusing Capacity of the Lungs for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO)
  • 6-Minute Walk Test
  • Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis
• At least 2 years of experience in an intensive care setting (preferred)
• Familiarity with current standards and operation of mechanical ventilators and respiratory equipment (required)
• Experience with intubation procedures (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and electronic medical records
