Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Radiology department at a respected acute care facility in Brooklyn, NY. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care in coordination with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare patients for procedures and administer IV fluids or contrast agents as required
• Monitor patients' condition throughout the imaging process
• Provide sedation and analgesia under physician guidance
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and recovery
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Respond quickly to any changes in patient condition

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Active NY RN License (Primary Source Verified)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Completed Skills Checklist and Specialty Exam (Med/Surg)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Radiology RN experience in an acute care setting (recent experience required)

Preferred Skills:

• EPIC EMR experience
• Strong in IV therapy, telemetry, wound care, infection control, and post-op recovery
