Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Location: Edison, NJ Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Additional Requirements: Weekends Required | On-Call (Minimum 4 times/month) | Holidays As Needed Pay Range: $2,160 - $2,494 per week About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity surgical team serving veteran patients. This role requires expertise in both scrub and circulating duties and a passion for delivering excellent surgical care across a variety of complex procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Perform scrub and circulating duties in surgical specialties such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, endovascular, and robotic-assisted (Da Vinci) procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and support surgeons and OR staff during procedures.
• Document care accurately; prior experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
• Oversee and assess performance of non-RN operating room staff.
• Engage in pre-operative assessments and post-operative evaluations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience in at least one of the following:
  • Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotic (Da Vinci), Endovascular/Vascular
• Scrub and circulating experience - required
• BLS certification (AHA) - required
• CNOR certification - preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR - preferred
• Must be dependable and available for all scheduled shifts (any exceptions must be disclosed before an offer is made)

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) - required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
