Position: Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry Facility: UHS Wilson Medical Center Location: 33-57 Harrison Street, Johnson City, New York, 13790 Specialty/Department: MED SURG/TELE (UHS-WMC-NT4) Contract Type: Travel Shift: 12-hour Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, CHF, AKI, and osteomyelitis.
• Administer care to a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and outpatients.
• Ensure accurate documentation and charting using the EPIC system.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5/6 for optimal care delivery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Be flexible and willing to float, if required, between UHS Wilson Medical Center (Johnson City) and UHS Binghamton General Hospital (Binghamton) within the scope of practice.

Requirements:

• Experience: Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• License: Active NY RN license.
• Certifications: BLS certification is required.
• Skills: Proficiency in EPIC charting system preferred.

Additional Information:

• Local candidates (within 50 miles) are accepted at a local pay rate.
• Daily OT applies after 24 hours, and weekly OT applies after 48 hours (based on multiplier).
• Staff are not required to be on call.
