Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract, 3x12 Schedule with weekends required Compensation: Pay Range: $42.63-$60.90 Per HR Description: Provide safe and competent care based on nursing theory and research. Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team for care planning. Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model. Use evidence-based practices to enhance patient care experience. Key Responsibilities: Deliver relationship-centered care through the nursing process. Integrate assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery. Prioritize all aspects of patient care, including education and planning. Role model patient-centered care actions and service recovery. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care. Engage in quality improvement and safety practices. Document nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement. Qualifications: Valid NYS RN License. BLS certification. Minimum 2 years of Medical Unit experience. Minimum 2 years RN experience. 1 year travel experience for Travel positions, not required for Per Diem positions. Experience with electronic health records highly preferred.
