Hourly Pay Range:$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Po sit i on H i gh li ghts:
  • Position: Registered Nurse Medical Group - Urogynecology
  • Location: SkokieAmbulatory Care
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
  • Hours: 8:00AM-5:30PM Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM-3:30PM Friday, hours rotate
  • Required Travel: There may be weekly travel to our Highland Park Hospital office location, as well as the possibility of working remotely once per week after the probationary/orientation period has successfully been completed.
What you will do :
  • Provide nursing care services under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager
  • Manage telephone triage for patients, assessing symptoms and patient needs, providing medical advice, guidance and ensure timely follow-up
  • Inform of test results, provide medication refills, convey patient plans of care, prior authorizations, and charting in Epic (EMR)
  • Collaborate with the Urogynecology team to ensure quality care and positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with our office protocols.
  • Provide clear communication with both patients and medical team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Handle a high volume of calls/messages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answer patient inquiries and address concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist with patient education regarding treatments and procedures we perform.
  • Schedule office appointments
  • Under supervision of the physician assist/perform in-office procedures when required
What you will need :
  • License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
  • Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
  • Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
  • Experience: 2 years of nursing experience in an inpatient setting; experience in Urogynecology or Women's Health a plus
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills; Excellent time management and organization abilities; Able to work independently and be self-motivated
