REGISTERED NURSE - KidsPeace Childrens Hospital : Job Details

The Registered Nurse is involved in carrying out the responsibilities involved with the provision of nursing services offered in each program area for the children in care may include contracted services (MD, OT, PT, Speech, etc.) and services of outside providers (dental, eye, etc.). Also assists the Director of Nursing with assessment, planning and implementation of those services and of record keeping and compliance. Reports to the Director of Nursing and will consult with the Staff Psychiatrist, as necessary. In the absence of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for the supervision of Transportation Aides, LPNs, CRM - As, Student Nurses and Interns in providing care appropriate to the age-related needs of children.
