Registered Nurse - Infusion - per diem - Guthrie Healthcare : Job Details

The Oncology nurse provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients and is responsible for delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based quality care. Practicing in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Experience: A minimum of two years of practice as a registered nurse in an acute care setting is preferred but not required. Education: Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited nursing program. A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required. Licenses: Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) Specialty certification is recommended as soon as the RN is eligible including: Chemotherapy/ Biotherapy Certificate and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
