About Our ICU and Who You'll Care For: Unit: E1 General ICU & E2 Cardiac ICU Total Beds: 36 Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1-2 Average Daily Census: 25 patients Uniform: Navy blue scrubs Critically ill adults in a general ICU setting Ventilators, sedation, drips, balloon pumps Post-operative cardiac patients , including fresh open-heart surgeries directly from the OR What You'll Do: Deliver expert, evidence-based care to complex, high-acuity patients Monitor and respond to rapid changes in patient conditions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Lead with precision, compassion, and professionalism What You Bring: ASN required; BSN preferred Active NY RN license (or eligibility) 1 year ICU, critical care, or similar high-acuity RN experience BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications Open Heart Surgery experience with familiarity with IABP and Impella devices What's in It for You?
