Travel or Local RN Emergency Department Plattsburgh, NY Facility: Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital 09/22/25 to 01/11/26 16 Weeks (36 Hours/week) 12H Evening (03:00 PM - 03:30 AM) Position Description: Total # of Facility Beds: 341 Total # of Unit Beds: 29 bed ED, 4 bed BDU Behavioral Health, 7 bed FT (Fast Track) all beds can swing to ER beds ER RN: 12H Evenings, 3p-3a. Weekend and holiday requirements, no call. Travelers must work 2 out of the 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Years Day/Eve. Requirements: • Prior travel preferred • Charge experience is preferred • 1 year minimum of specialty experience • HA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required; TNCC must be active or proof of class prior to start in packet; NIHSS will be required prior to starting • NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required in packet at time of submission - please note NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks and we will take that into consideration with start dates/offers • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable Additional Information: • IVS to OFFER • Monday to Sunday • No block schedules for any reason • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 10/06 • Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained • This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: • Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended • Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November - April #TB_HC
