Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Compensation: Pay Range: $49.98-$71.40 Per HR Description: Utilize the nursing process for direct patient care delivery. Coordinate and delegate care for assigned patients. Diagnose and treat human responses to health issues. Supervise care provided by other nursing personnel. Participate in quality improvement activities. Provide health teaching and counseling. Key Responsibilities: Assess immediate and ongoing care needs of patients. Develop comprehensive care plans including discharge planning. Provide direct patient care and oversee care provided by others. Document and communicate patient responses to treatments. Coordinate the overall plan of care with the multidisciplinary team. Participate in staff orientation and assume charge responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: BSN prepared with 2-3 years' experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center. TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, AHA Stroke certifications required. Competency in vent/tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes, medication titration. Good interpersonal skills.
