HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse Correctional for a local contract nursing job in Gouverneur, New York.

The candidates must have a current and valid NYS license and at minimum, one full year of medical/surgical, Emergency Room or ICU,CCU hospital Nursing.Current Job description is included below:

Job description: To provide professional nursing services to include emergency care, chronic care and assessment for mental health care to a challenging incarcerated individual population.

Nursing interventions: SOAP form of charting documentation of all case findings, health care teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care. The candidate will be expected to participate in staff training, assist in preparation of clinical and administrative reports and maintain all up-to-date infection control standards is required. The selected candidate will also be required to function as a member of an already established excellent treatment team. Excellent/accurate assessment skills are a must, as is all medical documentation of these assessments.

Note - We do have Day, Afternoon / evening and nigh shift available for this location.
