Registered Nurse Childrens Center - Career Start : Job Details

Registered Nurse Various Childrens Center Loacations Bath,Rochester and Auburn. Key Responsibilities: Delivers appropriate and quality health care services to youth in the residential setting.

• Assess clients for illness, injury, or psychological concerns.
• Communicate significant findings to medical providers and guardians.
• Implement prescribed treatment plans.
• Accurately transcribe information and carry out medical orders.
• Administer medications safely and according to NYS and agency guidelines.
• Monitor for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Triage health-related phone calls regarding youth in care.
• Support other nursing team members to ensure timely, quality care.
• Supervise and oversee care provided by LPNs and other health office staff.
• Provide assessments and care during physical restraints.
• Administer first aid in emergencies and coordinate patient care until EMS arrives.

• Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and NYS RN license.
• Preferred experience in adolescent psychiatry and/or pediatrics.
• Valid New York State driver's license and compliance with agency driving and insurance standards.
