Registered Nurse - Cardiopulmonary Services - Rome Health : Job Details

Rome Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Cardiopulmonary Services to implement, support, and maintain the mission of Rome Health: To provide quality healthcare with compassion. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and emotional support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members. The Registered Nurse - Cardiopulmonary Services will: • Understand and implement all nursing procedures, manuals, office polices and protocols. • Possess knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures and insurance requirements. • Be Responsible for the organization and maintenance of patient medical records • Be Responsible for accurately and legibly documenting information within patient medical records on the EMR, as well as paper documentation. • Perform and document triage and patient assessments, in accordance with New York state scope of practice. • Confer with physician regarding any incomplete patient tests/ consults or other incomplete orders prior to patient visit. • Prepare patients for examination and treatment. • Demonstrate competency in administering medications and immunizations, including knowledge of possible contraindications. • Conduct and document assessments of patient needs and provide resources for effective self-management. • Provide timely communication with patients, make inquiries, execute follow-up tasks, and help to integrate information into care plans.
