UPMC Western Maryland is hiring Registered Nurses and Graduate Nurses to support our Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit and Emergency Department Behavioral Health! Status & shift will be discussed and determined during the interview, while title and pay rate will be determined based on experience. This position requires rotating weekend and holiday hours.
\nOur Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit is for acute psychiatric illnesses and medically necessary detoxification services. The staff provides an integrative, multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. During an inpatient stay, nurses help patients with various treatment approaches including multiple daily therapeutic group sessions, medication, family meetings when appropriate, care coordination, medically necessary detox services, patient and family education, and linkage to community resources.
