And Job Responsibilities:OFFICE VISITS:Assesses and monitors changes in the physical and psycho/social needs of patients utilizing the nursing process. Educates and counsels patient and/or caregiver with provisions for follow-up Prepares the patient for and assists in complex procedures and treatments. Administers and documents all medications including IV therapy accurately. CHARTING:Patient charting is entered into the EMR accurately and in a timely manner. Provides clinical direction to the support staff (LPNs, Medical Assistants)MISCELLANEOUS:Responds to emergencies as needed. Checks code cart weekly, if applicable. Stocks supplies as needed. Required Qualifications:Minimum education: Associate Degree; Bachelors Degree is preferred. NY State RN License. BLS Certified; ACLS preferred. IV certification preferred. Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months. Vascular/surgical experience highly preferred. EMR experience is a strong plus.
