Job Summary: This Registered Nurse (RN) position requires floating between units in a critical access hospital and provides skilled nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery (LDRP). The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. On-call responsibilities and weekend rotations are required. Experience with Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and fetal monitoring is essential.Location: Polson, Montana, United States, Responsibilities: - Providing skilled nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. - Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning. - Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. - Managing patient care across multiple units as needed. - Performing Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) procedures. - Utilizing fetal monitoring equipment. - Charting patient information in Epic (preferred). - Responding to on-call requests. - Working weekend rotations.Required Skills & Certifications: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. - Minimum of two years of hospital experience. - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. - Proficiency in fetal monitoring. - Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills. - Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Experience with Epic electronic health record system. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.Special Considerations: - Floating between units is required. - On-call responsibilities are required. - Weekend rotation is required (every third to every other weekend). - Patient ratios vary (1:1, 1:2, 1:4). - This is a position in a critical access hospital with 22 beds.Scheduling: - Shift type and scheduling details are not specified, but on-call and weekend rotations are required.
