Responsibilities:

  • Assess residents' nutritional needs and create customized meal plans.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor and document the nutritional status and progress of residents.
  • Educate and counsel residents, families, and staff on nutrition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance residents' overall health and well-being.
  • Provide support across multiple facilities as required by the company.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Possess a state certification/license in good standing.
  • Knowledge of nutrition care regulations and state survey processes is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and effectively interact with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory.
  • If serving multiple sites, a valid Driver's License is required.
