- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field required, with coursework accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Completed an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program
- Licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) required
- CPR certification required; Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- At least one year of experience in dietetics or a similar role preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

In this role, you will provide expert nutritional care and education to patients, families, and caregivers, focusing on Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), Diabetes Self-Management Education and Training (DSME/T), and other applicable services. The Registered Dietitian will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering comprehensive nutritional programs, empowering patients to achieve their health and wellness goals. This position requires a collaborative individual who can effectively communicate and work with patients of diverse backgrounds and needs, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to all professional guidelines and regulations. - Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and Diabetes Self-Management Education and Training (DSME/T) to patients in ARcare clinics and via Telehealth
- Assess patient nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans using the Nutrition Care Process
- Educate patients and caregivers on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for improved health outcomes
- Document all services accurately in electronic health records, following the Nutrition Care Process
- Collaborate with the Diabetes Self-Management Program team to enhance service offerings and program development
- Use health information systems to manage and improve the delivery of nutrition and diabetes care
- Comply with professional guidelines, including those of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Diabetes Association, and federal HIPAA regulations
- Attend team meetings, professional development opportunities, and continuing education to stay updated on best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned to support coordinated care and clinic operations
