Home charting/documentation and care coordination, but in the field visiting primarily hospitals, patient homes, treatment facilities and sometimes in clinic in Tukwila
Service Location: South Sound, Tacoma/Olympia/Kent/Centralia/Puyallup and surrounding area
Duration: 6-month contract to hire - reliable employees will be offered the chance to convert if they wish to do so at the end of the contract period
Shift: M-F 8:30-5
Pay Range: $35.06 - $54.43 – Depending on years of experience
Supplemental Pay: Weekend, and mileage reimbursement (A new person will not go into weekend rotation until after 6 months)

Day To Day:
This Dietitian is working at the top of their license. They are responsible for visiting patients in hospital, home or treatment facility, to help patients how to use their feeding tube, how to flush tubes to maintain patency Most support and follow up is over the phone. This position handles a lot of back-end coordination of new referrals and coordinating with outpatient doctors and dietitians. This position is unpredictable; no day is the same. We are looking for someone fluid and flexible who can work well within a team as well as independently.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients' total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.
