Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic RD/LD based in Austin, TX, or the surrounding area. This role involves both in-person and telehealth counseling sessions with individuals and groups in a collaborative private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct personalized nutrition assessments for clients with a variety of needs, including but not limited to:

• Gastrointestinal (GI) disorders
• Eating disorders
• Weight management and metabolic health
• Diabetes and other endocrine disorders

-Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.

-Utilize motivational interviewing and counseling skills to support long-term behavior change.

-Foster strong, trusting relationships with clients to enhance engagement and treatment adherence.

-Collaborate with other practitioners in a group practice environment.

-Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Required Qualifications:

-Current RDN credentials and Texas State License (LD)

-Minimum of 1 year of experience in a patient-facing clinical or counseling setting.

-Demonstrated experience working with a clinically diverse patient population.

-Proficiency in motivational interviewing and nutrition counseling.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Familiarity with Health at Every Size® (HAES) principles.

-Knowledge of and experience with Intuitive Eating.

Job Type & Compensation:

-Part-time caseload with the potential to transition to full-time.

-Hybrid Remote (Minimum 1 Day in office for part time, Minimum 2 Days in office for full time)

Compensation is a percentage of each dietitian's individual receipts (private pay, insurance, and sliding scale clients).
