Collaborates with other healthcare team members to coordinate hospital therapy and plan post-discharge care. Provides nutrition therapy and education to promote a healthier lifestyle. Maintains professionalism by providing all services in accordance with clinical standards. Serves as a preceptor for dietetic interns as needed. Demonstrates the ability to adhere to all policies and procedures. Maintains absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to patients. Displays a positive and professional image and attitude with patients, families, and coworkers. Demonstrates ongoing responsibility for self-education. Demonstrates effective critical thinking skills and judgment capabilities. Demonstrates the ability to effectively plan, direct, and implement appropriate nutrition intervention.
