Job Title: Registered Dietician - Corcoran Job ID: 78494 Location: Corcoran, California Overview: We are a North America-wide recruitment agency. We pride ourselves on assisting our clients to find and place the best candidates. Currently, we are recruiting Registered Dieticians for long-term contracts at correctional facilities in California. What you will be doing:

• Assist and advise clinical personnel on special nutritional needs.
• Plan dietary interventions, monitor and document nutritional needs, and provide medical nutrition therapy.
• Conduct nutrition assessments within 72 hours of a physician's order.
• Provide nutritional counseling and follow-up consultations for patient/youth as needed.
• Interpret prescription diets and establish menus and therapeutic diets.
• Train institutional food service staff in medical diet preparation and compliance.
• Suggest alternative food products and substitutions as needed.
• Ensure inpatient dietary menus are current and compliant with policies and procedures.

What you must have:

• At least 1 year of experience within the last three (3) years
• Driver's License or Passport Identification.
• Possess and maintain a current and valid registration issued by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to practice in California.
• BLS (American Heart Association only)
