Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - School Setting - Brentwood Job Description:Ro Health is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide support for in-school ABA and general classroom support cases in the Long Island area . We are looking for providers who have experience working with children with behavioral challenges and providing services for kiddos ages 3 and older.This position would involve working in close proximity to the teacher and providing behavioral support to students when applicable.We are a staffing agency committed to making sure that we set you up with all the tools you need for your success! Career development within the behavioral health field is available.Responsibilities/Duties:Provide support for students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activitiesAssist teachers and behavior specialists with the implementation of student IEP plans by creating a positive learning environmentManaging tantrums and outbursts of studentsMobility support - Ensure student safety around the school campusToileting/Diapering for studentsOther duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentActive/Valid Registered Behavior Technician certificationReliable Transportation and CommunicationA current and active criminal background checkNational Sex Offender Registry CheckAll appropriate credentials as identified by the District (a minimum of forty-eight (48) college credits from an accredited college or university or each candidate has passed the state paraprofessional exam)Preferred Skills:Previous ABA experienceProfessional experience working with kidsAssociates Degree preferredCPR Certified - we will provide assistance in acquiring CPR certification if neededSalary: $22-24/hrBenefits:We offer flexibility, competitive pay and benefits.
