Regional Vice President

Working as the Regional Vice President, you will lead and manage a team of senior leaders for your region while managing the relationship with the assigned client(s).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, managing, and inspiring a team of operations leaders in the assigned region
  • Driving self and team towards building strong relationships with clients at all levels and achieving key performance indicators
  • Serving on the nationwide leadership team, influencing and leading nationwide operations, and regularly communicating with peers to share best practices, mitigate risks, champion diversity, and build community
  • Owning key regional decisions with team input, weighing risks and rewards along with short- and long-term implications; strategically, thoughtfully, and persuasively communicating based on the type of issue
  • Setting the tone for the culture of the organization in the region and regularly meeting with the extended team to ensure full transparency, education, safety, accountability, and alignment
  • Serving as a representative/brand ambassador of the ESFM team to most senior clients in the region, and acting as an escalation point
  • Partnering with Retention teams to drive strategy for growth, structuring deals, presenting new business, building relationships with prospective clients, and negotiating key contract terms
  • Collaborating with key partners on regional and/or nationwide initiatives
  • Championing development within the region; conducting performance evaluations, along with succession planning; having a full understanding of all roles within operations
  • Owning regional financial results/P&L, and working with the leadership team to ensure accuracy for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Ensuring consistent and fair administration of all policies and procedures
  • Recognizing and anticipating marketplace trends; participating in strategic planning meetings

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university, or eight (8) years progressive experience in facilities management or other Support Services areas in lieu of a degree

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Strong background in senior leadership roles with experience in contract and budget management, customer service, people development, negotiations, etc.
  • 6+ years experience in facilities management leadership with a focus in hard services/technical with exposure to soft services as well
  • A proven track record of growing a business and leading large cross-functional teams, along with excellent business and financial acumen
  • Ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically, and accurately
  • Expert client relationship, influencing, listening, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Champions inclusion mindset, proactive, positive, professional, flexible, and resilient
  • Demonstrates initiative, ownership, multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite

Extensive travel is required in this position.
