Location : REMOTE - WORK FROM HOME, ME Job Type: Full-Time Remote Employment: Remote Only Job Number: 00760 Department: Admissions (3111) Division: Staff Opening Date: 08/18/2025 Closing Date: Continuous Academic Year: No Description Husson University is seeking a driven and results-oriented individual to join our dynamic admissions team. The ideal candidate should be located in one of the following geographic territories: New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania (central or eastern). As an Admissions Regional Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in the entire admissions recruitment cycle, including extensive travel within your assigned territory, engaging with high school counselors, prospective students and families and representing the University at college fairs and other external events. Examples of Duties • Execute a comprehensive admissions recruitment strategy tailored to New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as additional territories not requiring travel, with the goal of attracting a diverse pool of prospective students. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with school counselors on behalf of Husson University for the purpose of recruiting new students to the University. • Represent Husson University at various college or career fairs, high school visits and informative programs. • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each academic program of study, as well as institutional departments and extracurricular activities. • Maintain accurate visit and recruiting records for all high schools in assigned territory. • Assist prospective students through the college enrollment process via phone, text message, email, social media, and traditional mail. • Extensive regional travel required in the fall and spring seasons, during the week and weekends, for the purposes of new student recruitment throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. • Work regionally with alumni for engagement and recruitment purposes. • Travel to the Bangor campus as needed for training and special events. • Collaborate with the admissions team to evaluate applications and make informed decisions regarding admissions. • Adapt to changing recruitment trends and implement innovative strategies to achieve recruitment targets. • Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned. Typical Qualifications Education and Experience Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 2+ years in related field preferred, especially if in college admissions or sales.
