  • Strategic Support: Advise the Regional CEO on strategic direction and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Strategic and Operational Planning: Lead a process within the Regional Business Unit to generate, execute and monitor a portfolio of initiatives and projects aligned to Canopius' strategy. Ensure that dependencies on different capabilities are clearly identified and communicated.
  • Project Management: Take a project lead role on specific projects from conception through to execution.
  • Operational Management and Process Efficiency: work with regional capabilities to ensure day-to-day operational activities are coordinated and are conducted efficiently – aligned to a clear target for End to End processes.
  • Communication: Handle internal and external communications on behalf of the Regional CEO, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
  • Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance: Work with regional capabilities to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of key initiatives and projects, providing regular updates to the Regional CEO.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of digital transformation and technology implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead through influence.
  • Future-focused and pragmatic mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle a number of different competing priorities.
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000
